Asheville Renaissance Hotel

The US-IALE 2016 Annual Meeting will be held April 3 - 7, 2016 at the Asheville Renaissance Hotel in Asheville, North Carolina.

The Renaissance and Sheraton Four Points are currently sold out. Rooms may become available closer to the conference. In the meantime, if you require lodging, please make a reservation elsewhere and check back periodically with the host hotels to see if rooms have become available due to cancellations. If you are able to book at one of the two host hotels, please reference the US-IALE Conference when making your reservation to be added to the group block. The rate is not guaranteed.

  • Renaissance: (828) 252-8211
  • Sheraton Four Points: (828) 253-1851

For other lodging options in Asheville, try the Asheville Visitors and Convention Bureau website: http://www.exploreasheville.com/places-to-stay/

There are also a number of options in the Tunnel Road area of Asheville, east of town, that would require transportation.  Public transportation is available via the bus line (ART) from hotels on Tunnel Road to the Renaissance: http://www.ashevillenc.gov/Portals/0/city-documents/transit/2015%20new%20maps/System_web_back.pdf or  http://www.ashevillenc.gov/Departments/Transit/MapsSchedules.aspx. There are two reliable lines along College and Tunnel--the green line (E2) and the Orange line (E1). These run 7 AM to 10 PM. Those coming toward downtown on the bus from the east would get off at "Court Plaza" (i.e., the massive County Courthouse building) which is right next to the Renaissance parking lot and close to the Bank of America.
